This is not goodbye...

…it’s fuck off and die!

After all these years of contributing to DIY music culture, booking bands I believed in, releasing albums for free, being a volunteer sound engineer for DIY artists, and receiving virtually no support, I am relieved to announce that I’m no longer participating. Of course, I will always make music, I just no longer wish to share it with ingrates. Too many times I’ve watched you walk out on my shows. Too many times I’ve been bumped from the lineup, because I was “forgotten.” Too many times, I’ve put everything into this, and couldn’t even get a friend or fellow artist to listen. I’ve deleted the KBOR playlist, I’ve committed social media suicide, and I’ve decided that I’m not one of these careerists who goes to shows to “network” and schmooze with douchebags in hopes of climbing some invisible ladder. Frankly, this world doesn’t deserve my contributions. To the five people who have supported me, you know who you are, and I truly thank you. Next time you see me, it won’t be me.

The Hour Of Glower will soon return, listen or don’t, I really don’t give a fuck. I do this for myself, not for you. I serve myself and my people, not you. So long, and good riddance.
